How to add a Flickr slideshow to your website?
Be aware: you need Flash support so no iPhone, iPad or other iDevices will be able to see the slideshow. Just add the following code to your HTML page:
<iframe align=center src=http://www.flickr.com/slideShow/index.gne?user_id=00000000@N00 frameBorder=0 width=650 scrolling=no height=650></iframe>
Here user_id=00000000@N00 should be your Flickr ID.
Raspberry PI
So you are looking for a small and cheap computer. It is no problem it does not provide much computing power (because it is cheap)? Take a look at the Raspberry PI. One side effect: it runs on Debian (a small Linux distribution). But what could you need it for? What to do with it?
This first project is about domotica and especially the link between Logitech universal remote controls and KlikAan KlikUit remote home appliances switching equipment. To bridge these we need an extra component. The Arduino based Nodo.

Arduino
Another small device with different identities and ways to use. But from this project point of view: a programmable (or configurable) intelligent USB device. It has its own development environment and can be used with Debian. For more information take a look at Arduino.
